We’re excited to finally say it out loud: we’ve put together a band to carry the Sky-Veil message.
Just four greying old guys pounding out raw, unapologetic Sky-Veil riffs with everything we’ve got. And believe it or not—we’re starting to book some relatively large venues.
One of them was the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee just a couple of weeks ago. Sold out. Electric.
Something unexpected landed in my inbox this week—a raw, fan-recorded bootleg of that very show. No polish, no studio shine—just four guys and the fire of the moment, captured from the crowd.
This wasn’t meant for release. But it’s real.* The energy. The sweat. The thunder of Tommy “Blazehammer” Rowe’s oversized kit. The growl of Jack’s voice. The pounding of Mick’s bass. The hum of tube amps and the roar of thousands behind us.
As the guy on rhythm guitar—I can say it was one of those nights that reminds you why you ever picked up an instrument.
For those who couldn’t be there—or those who want to feel it again—I’ll be sharing select cuts from this bootleg over the coming weeks.
Yes, a proper live album is in the works. It’ll be mixed, mastered, and worthy of the name. But the release date is still unknown.
In the meantime, this is your smoke-before-the-fire preview.
