Mythic Revelations
A Journey Through the Mystical Experience of Being
The Four Stages of Being’s Revelation
"Mythic Revelations" follows a profound spiritual structure—one that mirrors my own journey discovering divine truth, a journey that can only be understood through the lens of Catholicism and its acculturation with the Greco-Roman world. God ordained this cultural framework for His Catholic Church through the ages:
Devotion – The first call, the fire of faith, the soul’s yearning for the divine. This is where the faint light of Aphrodite emerges, the harbinger of divine love, awakening the longing that draws us forward.
Culture – The expansion beyond personal faith into historical, artistic, and philosophical realms. The faint light of Athena’s wisdom begins to illuminate, guiding us through the creative and intellectual dimensions of spiritual ascent.
Philosophy – The search for deeper understanding, where raw faith is refined into something more profound. Here, the faint light of Athena reveals that of Hera, and with her, the understanding of divine majesty and order.
Revelation – The moment where everything comes together, where love, wisdom, and sovereignty merge into a singular, undeniable reality pointing upward toward the sacred heavens.
The Three Phases: Aphrodite, Athena, Hera
The mythological goddesses in "Mythic Revelations" do not stand apart as separate deities in the Catholicized Greco-Roman world; rather, they embody the pre-Socratic confrontation with Being through the combined hearts of St. Joan of Arc and St. Thérèse. They are not Platonic “forms” or metaphysical “ideas” but the shimmer of the living, breathing richness of the Greco-Roman framework infused with Catholic revelation. They shape the liminal space where divine truth is unconcealed—what the ancient Greeks called Aletheia.
Aphrodite – The faint light of divine love that initiates the journey, calling the soul toward the beautiful and the sacred.
Athena – The faint light of wisdom, courage, and creativity that sustains the path, guiding the soul through trials of intellect and endurance.
Hera – The faint light of the majesty of divine order, the crown of royalty that completes the journey, where all things find their place in sacred harmony.
Aletheia: The Shimmering Light of Unconcealment
While "Mythic Revelations" does not explicitly explore Joan of Arc or Mystical France, these themes remain in the shadow of the album as part of my larger body of work—my writings, videos, and music. Mystical France, as represented in my extensive writings, is the revelation of Joan's heart, appearing through the shimmering light of Aletheia, the "experience of the experience" with the Being of Catholicism brought together with Greco-Roman acculturation. This album moves beyond an understanding of “metaphysical ideas” to the space where divine love, wisdom, and majesty shine through in experience.
