Welcome to the Sky-Veil News!
I told you in Whisper 6 that I was going to be in big trouble when I got back to Sky-Veil headquarters. And was I ever. You might recall I mentioned in the previous Whisper that Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite—the Heralds of the Veil—were not ancient Greek goddesses. In fact, I said they were not even real—they were heralds not entities. That did not sit well back at the office.
However, they paid me back by having some fun with me. Athena told me I was—and I quote—useless. Oh, she said she meant it in the best possible way, of course. Right. But to understand what she was saying, Athena insisted that I attend Queen Hera’s lecture the following day given for some new pilgrims entering the Sky-Veil. It was going to be her presentation on “useful” and “useless” as they pertain to traveling safely and happily through the Veil. It’s the reverse of what you are thinking. Probably.
Her talk went flawlessly. I wanted to Whisper on it. It’s critical for anyone contemplating a journey through the Sky-Veil. Oh, that we could all be useless.
Welcome to Whisper 7! Athena told me I was useless.

Love this! Hera's lecture on "uselessness" is pretty awesome. Heidegger would be proud.
