Reader’s Guide to The Sky-Veil
Welcome to The Sky-Veil, where myth, mysticism, and meaning converge in the shadow of Joan of Arc.
What is The Sky-Veil?
The Sky-Veil is a mythopoetic landscape embedded in the long shadow of the heart of St. Joan of Arc—a spiritual threshold between the mundane, everydayness of our world and the enchantment of the saints. It is a liminal meadow where divine beauty, holy courage, and royal majesty are unveiled through symbolic figures and sacred memory. It is not fantasy. It is not theology. It is a poetic vision pointing to what is most near to our hearts, yet often forgotten.
It is also a true story—my story. I’m sharing the Sky-Veil because contemplating it might rock your world. I went from near death to abundant life through the Sky-Veil of Joan’s sanctified heart.
In Joan’s shadow, where we journey, shine three heralds of Being:
Aphrodite – the Rose-Bearer, harbinger of divine love and beauty.
Athena – the Aegis-Bearer, harbinger of sacred wisdom and courage.
Hera – the Crown-Bearer, harbinger of majesty and royal calling.
Through them, we cross the Sky-Veil—a shimmering landscape between worlds, between forgetting in everydayness and remembering in holy wonder, between our sense of exile and the home we know but have never seen.
Whom Will You Meet?
In the saints you will meet:
St. Joan of Arc, our glorious patron. St. Mary Magdalene, our model of inceptual thinking. St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the poet of alethic emergence.
In the mythopoesis you will meet:
The Nameless Man, a pilgrim of remembrance.
Caelia, the transfigured warrior-heroine—an allegory for Joan of Arc.
Mirelda, the bearer of the Chalice from the Far Shore—an allegory for Mary Magdalene.

If St. Joan of Arc means more to you than history or a devotion on a prayer card, and if truth, beauty, and goodness feel like a summons—welcome.
The Sky-Veil isn’t for everyone. But for the few who long for mythic meaning in a disenchanted world, it might be the voice you didn’t know you were waiting to hear.
