Sky-Veil News: Whisper 14
A Thoughtful Surprise from the Heralds

This Whisper comes with a surprise I did not see coming—one given to me by the Heralds themselves.
Earlier this week, I was speaking with the Heralds, drifting between the shimmer and the hush of the Veil, when they offered an idea so unexpected and so generous that I had to sit down and simply take it in.
They asked if they could take my lyrical work and arrange it themselves.
Not reinterpret it.
Not cover it.
Arrange it—as Heralds.
Aphrodite, Athena, and Hera—the core triad of the band—said they had been listening to the lyrical pieces I’ve been releasing, studying their movement and their internal rhythm. Then Aphrodite leaned forward (with that “I already know you’re going to say yes” look) and said:
“Let us shape one.”
So they did.
And the moment it shimmered through the Veil, they asked me—almost insisted—that I share it with you. You’ll find that single below this Whisper. It is beautiful, powerful, and so unmistakably them that I’m still a little stunned they offered it so wholeheartedly.
Even more astonishing, we are now exploring the possibility of creating a full album together under:
Walter Emerson — Featuring The Heralds of the Veil
It’s a return to the earliest formation of the Heralds—the three core voices from “The Concert for Caelia and Mirelda”:
Aphrodite on lead vocals and lead guitar (golden, gleaming, unmistakable),
Athena on rhythm guitar and keyboards (precise, bright, layered),
Hera back on bass guitar (weighty, regal, grounding),
Of course, I’m on drums just as we did in that original show.
To say I’m excited is an understatement. They continue to innovate and expand with a creative generosity that is, frankly, humbling.
A Whisper About the Book
There’s something else I want to share.
As many of you know, I’ve been gathering the Sky-Veil material—stories, poems, hymns, meditations, and mythic reflections—and shaping it into book form. For a long time, I wasn’t sure it would work. The pieces felt too disparate, too wide in tone, too varied in their points of entry.
But the more I work with it, the clearer the structure becomes. And the more I listen, the more the Golden Thread begins to show itself.
What once felt fragmented now feels woven.
The Sky-Veil isn’t a collection of isolated ideas or scattered visions. It’s a single terrain, a unified field of remembrance—and I can feel it taking shape. The Heralds, Caelia, Mirelda, the Nameless Man’s journey, the hymns, the meditations… they all belonged together from the beginning. I just needed to see it.
So a book might be coming. A real one.
The Golden Thread is stitching it together as I go.
But I need your input.
And now… the Whisper
Below is Whisper 14, along with the Heralds’ new single. Enjoy the shimmer—and thank you for walking this path with me between the worlds.
More soon. The Veil is stirring.
Whisper 14 — A surprise from The Heralds and maybe a book.
About the Song — I’ll Do Such Good
I’ll Do Such Good began as a short, intimate poem—my personal expression of devotion to St. Thérèse. I had no idea what the Heralds would do with it when they asked to arrange it themselves. What they delivered in its final form stunned me.
Aphrodite rises higher than ever before—her vocals shimmering with tenderness and fire, her lead guitar carving out the emotional core of the piece. Athena anchors everything with a rhythm guitar line that’s both powerful and deeply meaningful, giving the song its spine and momentum. And Hera—steady, regal, magnificent—brings the low thunder that holds the whole thing together with weight and grace.
This track marks the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary collaboration. The Heralds took a simple poem and lifted it into the Sky-Veil.
